The following contains spoilers for today’s Framed.
Black and white film. A psychiatrists writes notes on a patient who has ‘increased resistance.’ A sign reading ‘Goldstadt Medical College.’ A man in white lab coat (Colin Clive) speaks to someone off-screen, jarred brains on the table in front of him, anatomical illustrations of the human body behind. A different man (Boris Karloff) is strapped to a raised table, assorted machinery surrounding. This man sits up from the table and is choking the man who was speaking by the brains. Finally, a close-up of the man from the table – the top of his head squared, bolts protruding from his neck.
