A shot out of the back window of a car while it travels out of a city, La fin du monde by Juniore playing. Someone is opening a box, before we can see what’s inside the shot cuts to a meal on a tray. Someone is running on the grass between two paths while Perfect Day by Duran Duran plays. Uncomfortably close shots of people eating meat while equally uncomfortable chewing sounds are made. A phone with text from Ann – ‘When will you be home?’ – a man (Sebastian Stan) picks up the phone.
